Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Application Support Engineer to join our growing IT support team. The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support for ERP users, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure business continuity by maintaining seamless ERP operations. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with a good foundation in SQL and cloud technologies (preferably Azure).
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to user queries related to the ERP system and provide timely resolution.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate ERP-related issues effectively.
Perform root cause analysis and ensure long-term solutions for recurring issues.
Write and execute basic SQL queries to investigate and resolve data-related issues.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to resolve support tickets.
Communicate effectively with end-users, customers, and stakeholders to understand issues and convey solutions.
Document common issues, fixes, and standard operating procedures for internal knowledge base.
Support system testing, upgrades, and patches as required.
Help monitor system performance and user feedback to improve ERP operations.
Assist with cloud-based ERP integrations and understand Azure-based service configurations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1 to 2 years relevant working experience of SQL – ability to write and debug basic queries.
Basic understanding of cloud technologies, with a preference for Microsoft Azure.
Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
Solid troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to issue resolution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to manage stakeholders and customers with professionalism and empathy.
Capable of working under stressful or high-pressure environments while maintaining quality service.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Internship or coursework related to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Salesforce).
