Atrium Health is seeking an inpatient Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for their Lincolnton, NC location at Atrium Health Lincoln.
Job details:
100% Adult medicine
Full time inpatient position, Monday through Sunday, 7 days on/ 7 days off 7am-6pm shifts
APP will be on call daily with one attending physician
Perform inpatient GI consults and round daily at Atrium Health Lincoln.
Eligible for sign-on bonus and paid relocation expenses
Who you are:
Experienced APP with at least 2 years of Gastroenterology experience preferred
Physician Assistant – Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required, Master’s Degree preferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants required.
Nurse Practitioner – Master’s Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required. License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required. Acute Care board certification required based upon population and acuity served. FNPs without acute-care certification cannot be considered.
Advanced Practice Provider demonstrates strong critical thinking abilities and effective interpersonal skills
Able to work autonomously in an inpatient setting
APP skilled in prioritization and proactive decision-making.
