Job Summary:

In collaboration with assigned lead, responsible to assist in the accurate and timely administration and operations of all grants, sponsorship and research project activities that support DSI's mission to fund independent or partnered initiatives managed by Medical Affairs, triaging any open issues and bringing forward proposed recommendations to the attention of the appropriate stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and/or oversee the initial review of grant and project applications to ensure the medical reviewer has the necessary information needed for the decision, either within the Medical Proficiency Acceleration Center (MPAC), or when triaged to other offices who assist with the appropriate decision-making. Establish a Point-of-Contact relationship with applicants for collecting, discussing, and evaluating all information throughout the submission, implementation, and reconciliation of such requests. Accurately and efficiently process all administrative Letters of Agreement and payments in a timely manner.

  • Complete regular analyses related to the results of grant applicants and sponsorship programs. Utilize these reports to evaluate trends and identify strengths or anomalies to identify potential shifts in decision strategy as necessary. Make recommendations on potential process improvements to Senior Director, MPAC.

  • Ensure that all required back-up documentation obligations are met in compliance with the terms and conditions of all supported agreements, and any resulting regulatory reports (Sunshine, etc.) that are necessary as a result of the grant and/or project. Independently tracking payments and preparing analytical reports for all reconciliations and Sunshine Reporting across the organization. Ensure the proper disbursement of corporate funds based upon the validated performance of these entities in accordance with the terms of the agreements and programs.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience:

  • 1 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Less than 1 year of experience in Medical Affairs (or a direct relevant comparison) with expertise in Oncology and Medical Education preferred

Salary Range:

$34.71 - $52.07
