Job Summary

As a Strategy Analyst, you’ll support the Military & Veteran Affairs (MV&A) team in developing insights, frameworks, and data-driven analyses that inform enterprise-wide strategic decisions. This role bridges research, analytics, and business strategy to advance MV&A’s mission while working cross-functionally to analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive landscapes, and emerging connectivity opportunities. Key tasks may include measuring the impact of new offerings through statistical analysis, segmenting customers to identify strategic opportunities, analyzing customer sentiment using natural language processing (NLP), and developing frameworks to optimize customer growth strategies.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and emerging opportunities that align with company growth priorities. 

  • Develop quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform strategic decisions across various business initiatives. 

  • Combine data from multiple sources to generate integrated market and performance views. 

  • Leverage data visualization and analytics tools to create clear, narrative-driven presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to leadership. 

  • Design and implement frameworks to evaluate program performance. 

  • Stay informed about emerging trends in analytics, customer insights, and the military/veteran ecosystem to drive innovation and strategic foresight. 

  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in analyzing complex business challenges. 

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, analytics, economics, statistics, or related field. 

  • 2+ years of experience in market research, data analytics, or business strategy. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to structure complex challenges and develop clear recommendations. 

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets. 

  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau. 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to translate data into clear, compelling narratives. 

  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for learning and innovation. 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build consensus among diverse stakeholders. 

  • Familiarity with military and veteran communities is preferred.
