Do Work That Matters
As an Analyst in the Business Performance and Optimisation team, you will play a critical role in delivering actionable insights to the CB and MCG Leadership Team. Your work will directly inform strategic decisions, shape performance improvement initiatives, and support the execution of business priorities across the organisation.
You’ll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to analyse performance trends, identify opportunities, and recommend mechanisms that enhance business outcomes and operational efficiency.

Reporting to the Executive Manager – Business Performance & Optimisation, you will:
Support the delivery of strategic insights and performance analysis to CB and MCG leaders.
Drive successful outcomes across initiatives aligned to CB and MCG strategic priorities.
Provide proactive business support and contribute to the continuous improvement of performance frameworks.
The Business Performance and Optimisation team has a significant role to play in the:
Creation of data analytics; insights; deep dives; market trends; and recommendations for course correction where necessary.
Delivery of strategic planning and large scale change / transformation projects on behalf of CB and MCG.
Provision of advice and strategies to address issues and trends in the internal and external environment that may be relevant to the Group or Risk Management.
Key responsibilities
Develop and deliver data-driven insights, deep dives, and market trend analysis to inform leadership decisions.
Recommend performance improvement strategies and course corrections based on evidence and analytics.
Contribute to strategic planning and transformation projects that impact CB and MCG.
Advise on internal and external trends relevant to the Group and Risk Management.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Strategy, Risk, Finance, Communications, and HR to ensure alignment and impact.
