Job Description

Owns all Airfreight Operations activities under file management for the customers under purview including: All file management activities post booking, Documentation, System updates, Operational finance, Proactive communication with customer service in case of exceptions. Support of customer service in customer query resolution and exception handling.

  • Secure truck appointments and monitors transfer activity in the terminal.  Proactively coordinates with vendors to eliminate incidental cost.

  • Ensures documents (HAWB. MAWB, Air Manifest) accuracy and timely submission to airlines/sending to counterparts.

  • Ensures timely milestones update in the system.

  • Ensures timely job costing and proactively follow-ups missing pre-alerts from vendors.

  • Acts as customer service/operations of non-key client export accounts.  Coordinates and secures confirmation from airlines and ensures profitability at all times.

  • Proactively monitors cargo movement and communicates with customers and counterparts.

  • Troubleshoots with partner airlines and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • With at least 2 years of experience in logistics or any fast-pacing environment

  • Good communication and excel skills

  • Good time management and prioritization skills

  • Can multitask and can work well under pressure

  • Proactive and with customer-centric mindset

  • Keen to details and cost sensitive
