In this role you’ll be at the forefront of transforming how we leverage AI to drive smarter, faster, and greater efficiency and the wider organisation. You’ll empower teams with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to experiment safely, scale innovation, and unlock measurable additional commercial value.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Championing AI literacy across the organisation - designing and delivering engaging learning programmes, workshops, and resources to build foundational and advanced AI understanding across Marketing and adjacent functions.
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to assess, approve, and onboard new AI tools- ensuring all experimentation aligns with regulatory, ethical, and data governance standards, while accelerating access to emerging technologies.
- Working with marketing, creative, and functional teams to document current state processes, identify inefficiencies, and surface high impact opportunities for AI integration particularly in content production, campaign orchestration, and performance reporting.
- Leading structured pilots and proof-of-concepts to test AI tools in real-world marketing scenarios -defining success metrics, track performance, and quantify benefits such as time savings, cost reduction, or uplift in campaign effectiveness.
- Translating successful experiments into repeatable playbooks and operational templates - ensuring learnings are accurately documented and embedded into BAU processes, with clear guidance for adoption across teams.
- Creating and maintaining a centralised repository of AI use cases, tool evaluations, and performance data. Actively sharing insights through internal channels to inspire adoption and avoid duplication of effort.
- Serving as a connector between Marketing Operations and enterprise innovation teams – ensuring Marketing’s needs are represented in broader AI strategy discussions and that Marketing benefits from cross-functional advancements.
- Aligning AI initiatives with strategic marketing goals, such as improving speed to market, enhancing customer personalisation, or optimising media spend. Continuously evaluate the commercial impact of AI adoption and report on ROI.

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences and influence decision making at all levels.
- Strategic mindset and visionary thinking, particularly in the evolving landscape of AI, not only in interpreting emerging trends but also shape the future direction of AI adoption within the organisation.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience in budget forecasting, planning, and management.
- Expertise in process analysis and optimisation, with the ability to define, document, and improve workflows to support scalable and sustainable growth.
