Job Description

The AI Engineer Advocate is the boots-on-the-ground expert who empowers individuals at Globe to build their own AI solutions. This role defines the strategy for developer relations, content creation, and community engagement to accelerate bottom-up AI adoption; is also responsible for creating practical, hands-on content and providing direct support to the AI Community of Practice. The advocate serves as an invaluable feedback loop, acts as a bridge between the core AI team and the broader organization, ensuring a culture of enablement thrives through mentorship and hands-on guidance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Community Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive strategy to engage, grow, and empower the AI Community of Practice and AI Champions.

  • Content and Program Creation: Develop clear and concise tutorials, code examples, blog posts, and guides for the C4E platform and AI kits.

  • Technical Advocacy & Technical Workshops: Serve as a subject matter expert, presenting at both internal and external events to promote Globe’s AI enablement capabilities. Design and lead hands-on workshops and training sessions for different personas (citizen developers, domain developers).

  • Community Support: Act as a first-line support for community members, answering questions and troubleshooting issues in forums and internal channels.

  • Event Management and Speaker: Plan and execute community events, such as internal AI hackathons, meetups, and conferences. Present at internal company events, team meetings, and external meetups to evangelize AI enablement.

  • Feedback Collection: Actively gather feedback from the community to identify friction points and new feature requests.

  • Tool & Kit Creation: Assist the platforms team in the creation and maintenance of standardized AI kits and templates.

  • KPI Reporting: Track and report on community engagement metrics and content performance.
