AI & Data Science Engineer

Job Description:

DXC Technology is looking for Data Scientist to support in AI and Generative AI projects, contributing to practical solutions and improving business processes through ML models, NLP and intelligent automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and implementation of AI solutions, including machine learning models, NLP, and computer vision applications.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to understand client requirements and translate them into practical AI solutions.
  • Assist in presales activities, including preparing technical materials and contributing to client presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date on AI trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to support solution development.
  • Participate in small-scale AI solution projects or tasks, gaining hands-on experience in real client environments.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Gen AI projects.
  • Good knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions, including design and implementation.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Agentic AI approaches or platforms.
  • Previous involvement in presales or solution support tasks.

Location: Bari with remote work possibility
