Job Description:

  • Participate in technical design document sessions with technical team.
  • Analyze requirements to refine transformations.
  • Understand existing business model and customer requirements.
  • Analyze specifications provided by the Business Users.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Develop solutions in highly demanding environment and provide hands on guidance to other team members.
  • Prepare solution specifications from business requirements.
  • Develop scripts and use big data tools to bring in Transaction Data Stores into data lake.
  • Lead the design implementation and continuous delivery of pipelines using distributed big data technologies.
  • Design and develop ETL tools, python-based spark scripts to transform data from raw zone to transform and optimize zones with the data lake.
  • Assist in AWS cloud migration. Propose architecture design and implementations for batch and real-time datasets.
  • Design the data schemas for IICS Process objects and create the json structure for the Cloud Application Integration API services to integrate third-party systems.
  • Design and develop complex cloud application integration API services using Java Springboot microservices.
  • Extensively use XQuery to parse the XML/JSON schemas to load the data into database tables and transform the DB column values into XML/JSON schema values.
  • Coordinate system/integration/UAT testing with other teams involved in project and review of test strategy.
  • Coordinate with business and development teams for closure of UAT defects and create ad hoc reports for end users.
  • Collaborate with team in fixing the technical issues if any and tune database queries for better performance.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Position may be eligible for part time telecommuting.

Job Requirements

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree* in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field plus three (3) years of experience in an occupation related to application development and support. Experience must include:

  • 3 years of experience with Java/J2E stack.
  • 3 years of experience with Spring, SOAP, or REST.
  • 3 years of experience with DB2 or MS SQL Server.
  • 3 years of experience with Big data tools.

*Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of a U.S. degree will be accepted. References required.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree* in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field followed by five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in an occupation related to application development and support. Experience must include:

  • 5 years of experience with Java/J2E stack.
  • 5 years of experience with Spring, SOAP, REST.
  • 5 years of experience with DB2, MS SQL Server.
  • 5 years of experience with Big data tools.

40 hours per week 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $154,000 - $230,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
