About the opportunity

Key leadership position responsible for coordinating and managing patient flow and resources to support our clinical teams across the
hospital.

  • Coordinate timely patient access and coverage of vacant clinical shifts

  • Management of clinical incidents

  • Shifts are After-Hours evenings, nights and weekends

  • Allocation Officers will support you to assist with staffing requirements

  • Grade 5 classification

What you’ll bring

You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

  • Minimum of 5 years recent nursing experience in a hospital environment

  • Previous management experience as an ANUM, NUM, Hospital Nurse Coordinator or similar

  • A high level of organisation, with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a complex environment

  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to successfully guide and support the development of the casual workforce

  • Flexible to be rostered over a variety of shifts
