Salary: £36,255.84
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm alternate weeks

What will this role achieve?
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Advanced Team Member to join our committed team, who have the drive and enthusiasm to make a real difference within a successful, expanding business.
What will be your key deliverables?
Ensuring best line efficiencies are maintained safely
You’ll help meet daily production goals while making sure everything is safe, good quality, and within the right cost limits.
Monitoring and improving line efficiency, identify faults and carry out basic mechanical repairs
Helping to generate and maintain compliance to DSOP’s/ Risk Assessments
You’ll carry out and record required quality checks, and take action if something isn’t right.
You’ll report how the plant is performing and make sure any problems are followed up and shared.
You’ll pass on important information to your team, other shifts, and different areas.
In addition, the successful candidate will play a key role in;
You’ll help reduce waste and make sure products are recycled.
Maintaining high standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping
Contribute to all forms of Continuous Improvement activity
Training and developing colleagues to continually improve skill levels and understanding
Essential
You should be able to safely use a wide range of tools and equipment, and be someone who thinks things through and acts fast to fix problems
Basic numerical and literacy knowledge
Basic communication skills
Basic problem recognition
Excellent team working skills
Be able to multi-task and have the drive and tenacity to work under your own initiative
Positive attitude and willingness to drive change within operational environment
A sound mechanical understanding
Experience of machine operation would be an advantage
Familiarity of Lean Tools such as 5S, OEE, Problem Solving Techniques
Ability to interact with all levels within business is essential
Desirable
Previous experience is desirable but not essential, training will provided.
Knowledge of manufacturing environment and of HACCP and safe systems of work
Understand zonal Key Performance Indicators (production targets, waste levels and line performance)
What does the recruitment process consist of?
Assessments – Swift Comprehensive Aptitude assessment along with a Workplace English assessment. These should take around 45– 60 minutes to complete.
Interview – 45-60 minute competency-based interview based on our company values and your experience.
