Your New Role

This role provides comprehensive organizational and administrative support to the WBTV music clearance team. Responsibilities include serving as key liaison with other WBTV departments, including accounts payable and music finance; data entry and maintenance of ClearTrack (WBTV’s proprietary database program) by providing accurate and up-to-date information related to individual productions. The individual must be proactive and able to prioritize well while balancing ever-changing needs in a fast-paced production environment.  This position must also establish and maintain an effective and consistent line of communication with the WBTV music creative team.  It is an essential function of this position that the work be performed partially from the Company’s offices, as collaboration with WBTV and other members of the Clearance team is important for the success of this position.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Essential Liaison with Music Finance and Accounts Payable departments – maintains current coding and details, secure information needed to set up licensors in WBTV’s payment portal; and runs weekly reports of outstanding payment requests.
  • Management of ClearTrack data – input essential information in the database, including all contacts (both internally and externally) and data specific to each production/series; maintains a current distribution list of recipients for the dissemination of reports and documents by the music clearance team; takes minutes at meetings; manages the department calendar; regularly updates contact details of licensors, music supervisors and related internal and external partners.
  • Administrative Support for the team, including, coordination with WBTV creative music team, delivery of physical files from our archives warehouse; research, coordination with visitors to the studio; manages group calendar for presentations and off-site functions and appointments; secures any reservation needed for business events.
  • Other tasks as may be assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • College degree preferred
  • Understanding of music licensing preferred
  • Must have excellent spoken and written communication skill and the ability to prioritize
  • Must be well organized and pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to work with deadlines, handle confidential information and collaborate well with the entire department

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $43,258.00 - $80,336.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
