Summary of Job Duties:

• Provide administrative support for the Vice Chancellor for Instruction including managing daily operations of the office.
• Work with division deans and directors to ensure faculty information and academic documentation are accurate, current, and compliant with college policies and procedures.
• Maintain academic records, documents, and reports for divisions and departments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper filing in accordance with instruction and academic requirements.
• Assist faculty, staff, deans, and directors with support related to academics and instruction.
• Prepare and support the submission of documents and reports required by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE), Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and other accrediting agencies.
• Attend designated meetings to record accurate minutes and maintain related documentation.
• Process purchase orders, requisitions, and other documentation in Workday
• Maintain office supplies and assist as needed with supplies for academic divisions.
• Work with the Graduation Committee to plan and coordinate graduation ceremonies which includes assisting with the student-related aspects of graduation practice, the ceremony, and honors reception.
• Maintain all course and schedule management in Workday including entry and updates for course information, schedule building, and reporting.
• Work collaboratively with Admissions & Records to ensure student and academic records are accurate and up to date.
• Assist with program completion and graduation processes, including verification of program requirements and preparation of graduation documentation.


Qualifications:

Associate’s degree preferred plus two years of related experience. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff. Must have strong grammar, punctuation, proofreading and computer skills with an emphasis on MS Excel.  Preference given to candidates proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access and those who possess strong leadership and training skills.
