Your Opportunity

We are seeking an organised, professional and friendly Receptionist / Administration Officer to join our team in Hornsby. This role is the first point of contact for visitors and callers and provides vital administrative support across our office with some support work across the region.

You’ll play an important role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by managing front-of-house duties, coordinating office administration, and supporting team members with a range of tasks.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide professional front desk and phone reception services, greeting clients and visitors in a courteous and welcoming manner.
  • Respond to general enquiries and direct calls or correspondence appropriately.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and office supplies.
  • Maintain tidy and organised reception and common areas.
  • Assist with meeting coordination, room bookings, and catering arrangements.
  • Support the Area Manager with general administrative tasks, including meeting secretariat functions, some accounts payable and receivable processing, document preparation, and filing.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth communication and workflow.
  • Contribute to a positive and professional office environment.

Requirements for Success

  • Previous experience as a receptionist, administrator or in a customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, professional manner.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to assist colleagues and clients.
  • Demonstrated reliability, discretion, and commitment to teamwork.

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
