Role and Responsibilities
- Requirements Alignment: Collaborate with Group and LBU teams to understand and align Actuarial Test and PathWise Testing for GTP
- Testing Strategy & Planning: Work closely with partners and other stakeholders to define a comprehensive test strategy for products across the Domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Test Execution & Coordination: Oversee and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing, ensuring smooth execution across Group and LBUs.
- LBU Coordination: Act as the single point of contact for all domain spectic test activities, ensuring timely communication, defect triaging, and issue resolution between LBUs and the central testing team.
- UAT Handholding & Support: Guide and support business users during UAT, ensuring they have the necessary training, access, and knowledge to execute test cases effectively.
- Defect Management & Reporting: Drive defect triaging and reporting, collaborating with Oracle support, Implementation partners, and internal teams to resolve defects promptly.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to best practices, regulatory requirements, and security compliance specific to Oracle Fusion implementations in insurance and financial services.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Testing on Actuarial and pathhwise (Finance and Accounting). Exposure insurance products is essential
- Exposure to actuarial modelling software
- Expertise in test planning, test execution, test data preparation, and defect management.
- Build and validate actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
- Ensure actuarial practices align with local and international regulations (e.g., IRDAI, Solvency II, IFRS 17).
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, vendors, and IT teams.
- Knowledge of finance processes and compliance in an insurance company setting.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to convey technical details to business users and vice versa.
Preferred skills
- Knowledge on IFRS 17, Actuarial.
- Actuarial Certified.
- Support audits and regulatory filings.
- Validate actuarial logic in software systems.
- Perform scenario testing for insurance illustrations and projections.
