The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team: 

The RTX Enterprise Services Business Solutions, Strategy and Transformation Team is looking for a full-time Project Manager to support Accounts Payable (AP) and Travel & Expense (T&E) project management and continuous improvement initiatives through effective leadership and execution.


What You Will do

  • Serve as the primary liaison for key S/4HANA integrations, ensuring alignment with the master schedule and progress across projects.
  • Partner with the Process, Systems, and Transformation (PST) team to prioritize and execute S/4HANA initiatives.
  • Coordinate with PMO, PST, and Operations teams to align resources and manage dependencies.
  • Support Business Solutions leadership in stakeholder management, communication, and risk mitigation across the S/4HANA program.
  • Lead risk and issue mitigation planning to achieve productivity, quality, and organizational goals.
  • Manage full project lifecycle—initiation through closure—for multiple complex projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and performance standards; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
  • Report project outcomes, risks, and recommendations to leadership, escalating critical issues as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and end-to-end optimization.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance or related field and a minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in and/or strong knowledge of the Accounts Payable function
  • Minimum 7 years leading and coordinating functional projects or operational initiatives — able to assemble cross-functional teams, drive critical outcomes, support business service leaders, and manage stakeholder relationships and expectations across programs.
  • 7+ years managing the development of requirements documentation and technical project specifications for system implementations/enhancements, regulatory or process/policy changes, and technology upgrades — includes developing risk and issue mitigation to meet productivity, quality, and organizational goals.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain processes to manage scope, set project quality/performance standards, and assess/manage risk across multiple projects; comfortable challenging the status quo and facilitating diverse perspectives to drive solutions.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Prior experience with S4HANA project management/implementation

  • Prior experience leading, managing and mentoring teams

  • PMP certification or equivalent professional project management experience

  • Experience with SAP, Serrala FS2, Transcepta, SWIFT, ExPO, and/or Workday

  • Demonstrate credibility and positive energy

  • Able to think outside of the box, thrive in ambiguous and stressful situations Innovative capabilities, agile mindset requiring strategic thinking and foresight

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
