Pratt & Whitney has an immediate remote opportunity for an Accounting Manager responsible for all accounting related to the P&W Engine Leasing (PWEL) for MCE and 24K GTF Engines.
* Strong location preference for candidates local to the East Hartford, Connecticut area.
Leasing is a dynamic aspect of the Commercial Business and there are many opportunities to grow and learn through the interesting and different strategies the business is pursuing.
The role interacts with operations, technical accounting, collaboration accounting, tax, RTX Enterprise Services, the Fixed Assets team and more.
What You Will Do:
- Monthly Journal Entries for lease revenue and charges including sharing with collaborators.
- Monthly entries related to 24K GTF Engine Lease Ins (ROU).
- Invoicing preparation for the all engines on lease to customers.
- Monthly Account Reconciliation and Accounting Controls Reviews.
- Quarterly balance sheet presentations to PWEL management.
- Yearly impairment reviews.
- AR aging reserves.
- In addition this role is responsible for aiding with the preparation of quarterly Finance Committee exposures and is working with the S4 Hana team to transition lease accounting into the new operating system.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance; OR an advanced degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Microsoft office proficiency required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of management confidently and concisely.
- Detailed, analytical and well organized – the business moves rapidly and the candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Business Warehouse experience.
- Strong understanding of SAP Financial System.
- OneStream Software experience.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
