The Position

The Account to Report (AtR) Global Solutions Lead is responsible for overseeing the global accounting and reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. This role involves leading a team, developing strategies for process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to align financial reporting with business goals.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy

  • Lead the global AtR team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal and external standards.

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve accounting processes and financial reporting capabilities.

Strategic Process Ownership

  • Serve as the Global Process Owner (GPO) for AtR, focusing on strategic oversight and direction for global accounting processes.

  • Drive long-term process standardization and harmonization across regions to achieve strategic consistency and efficiency.

Strategic Partnership and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Tax, and Treasury, to strategically align financial operations with business objectives.

  • Partner with other GPOs to ensure strategic integration and alignment of processes across the organization.

Regulatory and Compliance Strategy

  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and ensure the company strategically remains compliant with global accounting standards.

  • Develop strategic compliance frameworks to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Innovation in Technology and Systems

  • Strategically oversee the development and maintenance of accounting systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Evaluate and implement technology-driven solutions to support strategic process improvements and data analytics.

Data-Driven Strategic Insights

  • Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends and provide actionable strategic insights to senior management.

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports to support strategic decision-making.

Strategic Team Leadership and Development

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the AtR team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

  • Lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve strategic objectives and drive process improvements.

Required Education, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within global accounting and reporting functions.

  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading global teams.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with an aptitude for technology-driven solutions.

  • Experience in process improvement and change management within financial operations.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve strategic objectives.
