About The Role

At Verifone, you won’t just be selling products - you’ll be shaping the future of how people pay and businesses grow. As part of our dynamic sales team, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base across Finland’s SME market, helping merchants embrace smarter, faster, and more secure payment solutions.

This role is perfect for a true sales hunter - someone who loves building relationships, uncovering customer needs, and closing deals that make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Drive new business growth by identifying and acquiring customers within our small to midsize portfolio
  • Engage proactively with prospects through phone and email to build strong relationships and uncover opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with the onsite sales team, playing a key role in achieving shared goals and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Adopt a consultative, solution-oriented approach, understanding each customer’s unique needs to tailor the right payment solutions
  • Own the full sales cycle - from initial outreach and needs assessment to negotiation and contract closure

Skills and Experience You'll Need

  • Fluent in Finnish and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages
  • Finnish citizenship and the ability to work from our Helsinki office location
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Experience in banking, insurance, or the payments industry is a strong advantage
  • A true hunter salesperson with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • A credible, confident, and persuasive negotiator who builds trust quickly
  • Solution-oriented and proactive, always looking for ways to add value for customers
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and positive, bringing great energy to every interaction
  • A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and works well with others
