About the role
As an Account Manager within the Finance vertical, you will be responsible for managing and growing key financial partnerships across the region. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our partners, ensuring strong alignment between their goals and Careem’s strategic objectives. This role requires strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and the ability to execute and optimize partnership strategies that deliver measurable results.

 

What you'll do

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic financial partners and ensure continued growth and success.
  • Serve as the key liaison between Careem and partners, owning relationship management, performance reviews, and growth planning.
  • Drive the execution of partnership initiatives, from onboarding to optimization, across multiple markets.
  • Analyze partner performance, identify opportunities for expansion, and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, legal, finance, marketing, and other teams to support partnership execution.
  • Prepare and deliver regular business reviews and performance updates to both internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Stay informed of market trends, regulatory changes, and innovations within the fintech and broader financial services landscape.

 

What you'll need

  • 6–8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in managing B2B partnerships, ideally in fintech, banking, payments, or digital platforms.
  • Proven track record in account management, business development, or partner-facing roles.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to interpret data and financial metrics to drive business decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A self-starter mindset with strong ownership, bias for action, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MENA markets and prior experience in a regional role is preferred.

 

Where you'll be

  • This role is based in our Dubai office, with occasional travel to other markets across the region as required.
