About the Role:
The Worldwide Category/Portfolio Manager will play a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of our 3D Printing business, with a specific focus on developing the channel ecosystem and building the funnel for low-end 3D printers. This position requires a seasoned professional who combines strategic business acumen, product expertise, and strong partner engagement skills to drive revenue and category performance globally.
The ideal candidate applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business challenges, frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods, and acts as a trusted advisor across cross-functional teams. This individual will represent the organization externally with partners and customers, providing direction, leadership, and thought partnership in shaping the future of our 3D category.
Key Responsibilities:
Category Leadership & Strategy:
Drive the global strategy for the low-end 3D printing portfolio, focusing on channel expansion and funnel creation.
Deeply understand category products, business models, and sales dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
Contribute to the definition and execution of the 3D category business plan, including pricing, promotion, and portfolio management.
Translate insights into actionable go-to-market strategies and measurable business outcomes.
Channel & Partner Engagement:
Build strong relationships with key channel partners and distributors globally to drive adoption and sell-through.
Lead engagement with one or multiple regional sales teams and external partners to align strategies and maximize market coverage.
Business & Financial Management
Develop financial models, forecasts, and business cases to support strategic decisions and investment allocation.
Monitor business performance, identify risks/opportunities, and adjust plans to achieve growth targets.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives that improve processes, enhance forecasting accuracy, and strengthen category management practices.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
8–12 years of professional experience in Marketing, Sales, Product or Business Planning.
Proven experience in Channel Partner Management, ideally within the technology or manufacturing industries.
Experience with 3D printing, manufacturing, or CAD solutions is highly desirable.
Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory).
