As an Engineer Backoffice Support, you’ll be the go-to expert for resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth operations for our internal customers. Unlike first-level support, this role requires deep technical expertise combined with a solid understanding of financial and business processes to deliver exceptional service.

Resolve assigned incidents within SLA and ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide 2nd and basic 3rd level support for assigned IT services.
Drive problem management activities to eliminate root causes.
Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams for advanced support.
Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
Create and maintain procedures, checklists, and documentation for Service Center and knowledge base.
Plan, document, and implement chnges or extensions for managed applications.
Monitor services and components using Splunk (dashboards, queries, alerts, reports).

Strong presence and ability to influence across technical and business environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience with in-house developed products.
Independent, proactive, and adaptable under pressure.
Customer-focused mindset with operational “hands-on” attitude.
Willingness to travel and work on-call during weekends/public holidays.
Scripting/Programming (PowerShell, SQL) and Splunk expertise.
Solid experience with Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Windows Server.
Strong English communication skills (verbal & written).
Experience supporting Windows OS, SQL Servers, ERP/processing systems.
Familiarity with Citrix-based applications.
Slovak language skills.
Knowledge of Actian Zen Database, Dataflex, Java, .NET Framework.
ITIL certification.
