Raytheon is seeking a successful candidate to be tasked with Supplier analyst responsibilities within Supplier Strategy and Performance Management. As a Supplier Analyst, you’ll drive innovation and optimization to enable business growth and strategic contributions across a broad, cross-functional landscape.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent written, verbal and data visualization skills to synthesize and present in an effective, concise manner.  The successful candidate will understand the supply chain processes in order to drive positive business outcomes through effective change management and communication skills.

This role will participate in procurement planning, work closely with the business and acquisition professionals. In this position, the ownership & use of metrics will be key to maintaining MRP health and drive the expected level of performance to support contractual obligations. This is an acquisition role with a requirement to be onsite 3 days/week.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with acquisition professionals, business process management and procurement systems teams to resolve data and metrics related issues 
  • Support performance improvement effort projects such as administratively closing old purchase orders, working with acquisition professionals and production control to cancel significantly aged purchase requisitions, entering long term agreement pricing tables in PRISM, etc. 
  • Testing tool-updates as part of user acceptance 
  • Developing Power BI dashboards for special topics 
  • Utilizing Artificial Intelligence to create reports
  • Creating a data dictionary and library of terms for Naval Power usage 
  • Maintaining files and data in the Naval Power Procurement SharePoint 
  • Supporting Proposals, Agreement and Supplier Performance Management Data requests 
  • Working with acquisition professionals to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build
  • Providing status on material availability, and potential supply problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed
  • Coordinating cross-functional interdepartmental activity as needed (i.e. with Quality Assurance, Factory Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, Logistics),
  • Taking corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.
  • PRISM functions, assessing supply resources

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree majoring in Operations, Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Information Systems or closely related
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with Kinaxis, CMES or similar software
  • Motivated and takes on challenges with the ability to see when something needs to be done and react accordingly
  • Ability to understand systems and processes
  • SAP or ERP knowledge and experience
  • Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and environment
  • Experienced and effective communicator (presentation skills, written and verbal communication)
  • Ability to apply critical thinking techniques, using logic and reasoning to identify approaches to problems, and the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related manufacturing engineering ideally in a government contractor environment similar to RTX.

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
