Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst. This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Melbourne, FL.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Security Team supporting various programs.
The position is within DoD Program Security and will be focused on implementing our Security Education program.
The selected candidate will be expected to support security briefings, new hires, website development, foreign travel and contact reporting, and coordinating guest speakers to brief at security events. Other duties include:
- This person will develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
- Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
- Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor’s access to restricted records and materials.
- Conduct security education classes and security audits. Investigate security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Industrial Security Analyst (A01)
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
- Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited
- institution.
- Be majoring in or having majored in Business Administration, Accounting,
- Finance, Economics or other business related degree.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.
Preferred Qualifications
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher
- Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
Pay Range
- Associate Industrial Security Analyst: $61,200 - $91,800
