Position: Jack Driver Opr

Work Shift:   1st Shift

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a hand pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Required to wear a safety toe boot that can withstand 75lbs. at all times

• 6 months of machine operator experience. Can be a combination of experience from multiple employers. Prefer mechanical experience.

• Must have or be able to obtain Tyson operator’s license for pallet jack or forklift

Tasks include:

• Must be able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal.

• Possess basic math skills

• Good interpersonal and communication skills are critical

• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are requirements of the position.

• Must be willing to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds for some positions.

• Must be able to stand 8- 10 hours a day.

• Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments Must be able to complete required training.

• Must be able to perform all the duties of the position.
